his Sunday, Pastor Kelly Fleming will share a message from Matthew 9:9–13, where Jesus extends a simple yet life-changing invitation to a tax collector named Matthew:

“Follow Me.”

And Matthew rose and followed Him.

What follows is a scene that startled the religious leaders — Jesus sharing a table with tax collectors and sinners. When the Pharisees questioned His actions, Jesus answered with a powerful statement that still echoes today:

“Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick… I desire mercy, not sacrifice. For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”

This message will remind us that Jesus doesn’t call the qualified — He qualifies the called. His invitation is extended not to the self-righteous, but to the humble, the broken, and the overlooked.
