This Sunday, Pastor Kelly Fleming will lead us into a powerful reflection on the compassion and authority of Jesus as shown in Matthew 8:16–17. As crowds gathered around Him, Jesus healed the sick and drove out demons — not only revealing His power, but fulfilling the ancient words of the prophet Isaiah:

“He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.”

This passage is more than a record of miracles — it’s a window into the heart of a Savior who willingly carries our deepest pains and brokenness. Pastor Kelly will explore what this means for us today: that Jesus doesn’t stand at a distance from our suffering — He steps into it, and takes it upon Himself.
